All Conference events will take place at the Three Rivers Convention Center. The contracted Conference hotels are nearby; however, we will be offering a number of local transportation options:
Those staying at the Hilton Garden Inn may wish to walk across the parking lot to the Convention Center.
Those staying at the Red Lion may also wish to walk to the Convention Center, but they also have a van available. District Governor Don personally walked from the Red Lion to the Convention Center and indicates that it is a refreshing 12-minute walk, which included a 4-minute wait for a traffic light
Ben Franklin Transit offers a local shuttle which can transport from Convention Center hotels to the Convention Center and to the Columbia Center Mall.
Rotary Motorcoaches used to bring Rotarians over from the Seattle area will provide looping shuttles from the contracted Conference hotels to the Convention Center while we are holding meetings/functions in the Convention Center.
For personal vehicles, there is an enormous FREE parking lot attached to the Convention Center.

This year’s District Conference, Co-Chaired by Tom and Diane Jaffa, is the first to be held in our state in quite a long time. The sunny Tri-Cities is a scenic 3-1/2-4 hour drive from the Seattle area, and the Tri-Cities community, the Visitor & Convention Bureau, and local Rotary Clubs are all very enthusiastic about our District 5030 Rotarians coming to their part of the State.
The Three Rivers Convention Center is a new state of the art facility, and we have the entire building in which to have our program, meals, sessions and a special "House of Friendship" (headed up by Kay Cook), which will include the Club Display area (23 Displays already committed), Rotary merchandise, and the cyber cafe, where folks can grab a cup of coffee and visit with fellow Rotarians.
The District Conference Committee has been meeting for three years to work on creating the best conference ever! An interesting Rotary program is being developed by Program Chair Ezra Teshome and his team which includes District Trainer Ann Liberato, who is handling Rotary Sessions. The Conference Program will include many conference favorites such as:
