Rotary International today announced a partnership with the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation that will inject a much-needed US$200 million into the global campaign to eradicate polio, a crippling and sometimes fatal disease that still paralyzes children in parts of Africa, Asia and the Middle East and threatens children everywhere.

A group of District 5100 Rotarians are planning a humanitarian trip to Indonesia in January 2008. The itinerary is nearly set and is rather affordable. The variety of places we will visit range from Bali to Yogyakarta (central Java) to Aceh (tip of Sumatra) and will be eye-opening and touch your heart.
