Testimonials From Rotary Academy Students
Timothy Grout, Rotary Club of Lynnwood
I ... learned more in 9 months than in my previous 10 years in Rotary! I have been encouraging current officers from Lynnwood to take the course.
Ann Liberato, Rotary Club West Seattle
The best way to learn Rotary from A to Z and club to district to RI.
John Matthews, Rotary Club of Mercer Island
I can think of 3 reasons why other Rotarians want to think about taking this course:
- You get to learn things about Rotary that you never knew before.
- It helps to prepare you for leadership roles in and outside of your club.
- It's fun to be meeting with other Rotarians and for once, to know the answers (or where to find them).
I have been in Rotary for over 15 years, and it seems like there are many facets of Rotary that I am either unaware of or that I just don't know about. The Rotary Academy is a very well organized package of information about how Rotary works and it is set up in a way that enables you to work on it at your own pace. I'm sure that there are still parts of Rotary that are unclear to me, but at least now, I know where to look to get the answers I need.
Dave Howry, Rotary Club of Seattle Northeast
This course was a great opportunity to explore Rotary and develop a greater sense of its inner workings. Keep up the great work and thanks for all of the support offered.
Joanne Primavera, Rotary Club of Kirkland
There is so much to learn about Rotary and the academy lessons were really helpful to systematically learn about each area. I would highly recommend that more than one person from each club enter the academy. Three people from the Rotary Club of Kirkland worked through each lesson individually, then we met each month for breakfast to help each other find those answers we just couldn't find by ourselves. In addition, we had great fellowship.
Gwen Fraser, Rotary Club of Burien/White Center
